A few days ago I removed the destroyed hydraulic brake on the Fuego, and replaced it with a new one. I managed to get it installed, bled the old fluid and topped up with new fluid without any hitches – a job I had no idea how to do and was somewhat apprehensive of, until I looked it up on my phone.

This home repair made me wonder though – how did civilisation survive before YouTube? 🙂

My screeching front brake and lack of power was apparently due to some black substance that had coated the pads – some GT85 and a bit of elbow grease and I was back to full power.

I have lost some confidence cornering at high speed after the crash – was out on the M5 on Friday and was taking the corners like a wuss!
